In the name of God Amen.  I Charles Geneste of the town of Douglas in the
Isle of Man Advocate Do make this my last will and testament in manner
following:
I give devise and bequeath to George Geneste of the town of Douglas
advocate, Lewis Crebbin, and George Crebbin, of the same place Merchants,
all and singular the whole of my property and effects real and personal of
every description.  In trust to make sale of such of the household furniture
and plate as my dear mother and my dear Aunt Bell shall think unnecessary
for the use of my dear children, Mother, sister, and the children.  And to
lay out the monies thence to arise together with such other monies or costs
as may have been received on Mortgage for the purposes of the above trust.
It is my desire and I hereby direct my executors to see it carried into
effect that a Genteel house of a moderate rent be taken and furnished out of
the house in which I reside for the residence of my children together with
my mother and my sister Elizabeth and that my executors do
furnish my mother with the means of keeping the said house.
And on my children's attaining the age of twenty one years to distribute the
whole of my estate real and personal in equal shares and
proportions to among and between my said children and in case of the death
of  any of my said children under the age of twenty one years leaving issue
I leave and bequeath the share which the said child would have become
entitled too to the issue of such child.
I leave and bequeath to the poor of the town of Douglas the sum of one
hundred pounds British to be secured for them by the Chaplain and Wardens of
St Mathews Chapel.
I leave and bequeath unto my son Charles my watch to be given him  at
the descretion of my executors and I nominate and appoint the said
George Geneste, Lewis Crebbin and George Crebbin executors of this my will
and I to be guardians of my children.
In testimony where of the said  Charles Geneste has hereunto  subscribed his
name the nineteenth day of April 1833.  Charles Geneste

Only remaining children left are Charles Petras Geneste Esquire Ensign
in the Twenty Fourth Regiment of Foot and Lewis Geneste Esquire midshipman
in the Royal Navy who have both attained the age of twenty one years.
Executors transferred  whole of real estate and the personal estate of
Charles Geneste and have assigned certain securities
mortgages held by the said Charles Geneste in his lifetime affecting the
ship yard, births, and other property in the said town of Douglas  and
also certain share in the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company held by the said
Lewis Crebbin and George Crebbin - that both were satisfied
therewith and consented to discharge them from all liability in respect
thereof covenant of the said Lewis Crebbin and George Crebbin
