Patrick 1833
At a Chapter Court holden at Peeltown on Saturday 25th May 1833.
Mary Clague of the parish of Kirk Patrick having departed this life on or about
the twenty fourth of March last past intestate; and this Court having
received intelligence thereof, hath (For the preservation of the rights of
all Persons concerned) DECREED her children William, Ann, Elizabeth,
Catherine and Marcia Clague co-administrators of all and singular the Goods,
Rights, Credits, Chattels, and Effects, moveable and immoveable
whatever of the said Decedent. And the said children having agreed that
Thos Cubbon should be appointed administrator in trust he is thereupon
sworn, well and truly to administer the same, to pay all the intestate's
just debts, so far forth as the Goods will extend and the Law bind; and
return into the Episcopal Registry a full, true, and perfect Inventory
thereof, and an accurate Account of all transactions, touching the same when
thereunto lawfully required.
And to these ends he hath given Pledges in form of Law, namely Robert Moore
and Thomas Corris both of KK Patrick.

Know all men by these presents, that We Robert Moore and Thomas Corris of
Patrick and Mary Clague Thomas Cubbon of the parish of Patrick are held and
firmly bound to the Rt Rev William Lord Bishop of Sodor and
Mann, and his Successors, in he Sum of fifteen pounds British; to the
Payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind Ourselves, our
Heirs, Executors, administrators, and assigns, jointly and severally, by
these presents, to the said Archdeacon and his successors.
Witness our subscriptions this 25th day of May 1833.
Whereas the Eccl Court of this island hath this day granted
administration of the estate of Mary Clague deceased to Thomas Cubbon and
Now the Condition of the above Obligation is such, that if the said Thomas
Cubbon shall well and truly administer the Estate and effects of the said
Mary Clague deceased; and shall in all Things relating thereto conform to
the Laws of this Isle, the Orders of the Ecclesiastical Courts thereof, and
the Oath he has this day taken, then the foregoing Obligation to be void,
otherway to be and remain in full force and virtue in Law.
