At Ramsey the 9th Oct 1835

Between Jane Quayle a minor by Philip Quayle her guardian and William
Cain executor of the will of John Kelly
Upon hearing this cause in presence of the parties and their advocates
and upon reading the will of the said deceadent it appears the plaintiff
is entitled to a legacy of twenty pounds and suit there under and that the
personal estate of the said deceadent is more than ample to pay all
debts and legacies and consisted chiefly of mortgages bearing interest.
I am therefore of opinion that the plaintiff who was grandchild of the
said deceadent is entitled to recover payment of the said sum of twenty
pounds British with interest from the 24th April 1834 being the date of the
probate of the said will and that such principal should bear interest
till paid at the rate of five per cent and the same is therefore ordered
and adjudged accordingly and the said defendant is further ordered to pay
12/3 costs
