	At a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey
	29th October 1834

John Radcliffe of the parish of Kirk Andreas having departed this life on or about the 8th 
day of August 1832, Intestate; and the court having received intelligence thereof, hath 
(for the preservation of the rights of all persons concerned) DECREED his children 
namely William, John, Ellen, Anne, Jane, Mary, and Elizabeth Radcliffe co-admins and 
their mother Anne Radcliffe is sworn Administratrix of all and singular the Goods, 
Rights, Credits, Chattels, and effects, movable and immovable whatever of the said 
decedent. And that the said Anne Radcliffe is thereupon sworn, well and truly to 
administer the same, to pay all the intestate's just debts, so far forth as the Goods will 
extend and the Law bind; and return into the Episcopal Registry a full, true, and perfect 
inventory thereof, and an accurate Account of all Transactions, touching the same when 
thereunto lawfully required.
And to these ends she hath given pledges in form of Law, namely Wm Radcliffe and 
William Radcliffe both of the parish of Kirk Andreas.
