This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Isabella Moore some
time ago of Ballanhow in the parish of KK Santan but late of Finch's Road in
the town of Douglas, spinster, deceased, published by her in our presence
who are the subscribing witnesses hereto on the first day of September 1836
and by us the said witnesses committed to writing on the second day of
September 1836.
She left to her brother Thomas Moore twenty five pounds British.
She left to the children of her brother John Moore the sum of fifty pounds
British, that is to say, ten pounds British each.
She left to her nephew Thomas Brew the sum of ten pounds British with a
furnished bed and bedding whereon he then lay.
She left to her sister Margaret Brew the wife of Thomas Brew late of Mary
Veg in KK Santan, two feather beds, three tables and all the money that she
was possessed of or entitled to after payment of her just debts and
legacies and funeral expenses.
She left to her sister Catharine Kelly, widow, the whole, of her household
furniture, goods, chattels and effects save and except what is herein before
mentioned.
And she appointed her brother John Moore executor of her said will.
Witnesses wheres of we have hereunto subscribed our names this said second
day of September 1836.

At a Special Court held this seventeenth day of September 1836 in the town
of Douglas John Moore of Ballnahow in the parish of Braddan was sworn
executor to the will of Isabella Moore deceased in the usual form of law,
for the due execution of the which he has given as pledges Thomas Caine of
the town of Douglas in the sum of two hundred and twenty pounds.
