In the Name of God Amen
I William Killip of the parish of KK Lonan with the joint consent of Jane
Killip alias Kewley my Wife knowing the uncertainty of this transitory Life
and the certainty of Death we being of sound desposing mind and memory do
make this our Last will and Testament
First we commit our souls to God who gave it and our Bodies to a Christian
Burial and as to our worldly Effects we despose of in manner following
We Leave and bequeath to our well Beloved and dutiful son John Killip the
one Half or Moiety of our Lands Houses gardens and Haggarts to be enjoyed
by him after the Decease of the first of us the said William Killip and
Jane Killip and the other Half or moiety after the decease of the Longest
Liver of us the said Testators he the said John Killip yielding and paying
the sum of Thirty pounds British in manner following
Fifteen pounds British as the possessing of the first Half or Moiety as
aforesd and the remaining fifteen pounds at any time the Longest Liver of
us the said Testators thinks proper to Demand
Item We Leave unto our Daughter Jane wife of Thomas Moore Three pounds British
Item We Leave unto our Daughter Elenor Wife of James Kewley Twenty pounds

Item We Leave unto our Daughter Ann Wife of John Skillicorn Five pounds
British
Item We Leave unto our Grand Daughter Jane Skillicorn Daughter of James
Skillicorn at the descretion of the Executor or Executrix
we Leave unto the poor of this parish thirty shilling British to be
distributed amongth the poorest of them
Lastly we revoking all other wills heretofore all words or intentions
uttered Declaring this to be our Last will and Testament and nominating and
appointing therein the Longest Liver of us the said William Killip and Jane
Killip whole and sole Executor or Executrix of all the rest of our goods
and Chattles moveable and immoveable of whatever nature and Denomination
soever as witness our names hereunto subscribed this the 22d Day of April 1831

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas on the 18th day of June 1836
William Killip having departed this life Jane Killip the Survivor is sworn
Executrix in Court in form of Law well and truly to execute the last Will
and Testament of William Killip deceased to pay all his just Debts and
Legacies so far forth as the goods and effects will extend and the Law bind
her, and to do all other acts and Deeds pertaining to the office of
Executrix according to Law and to these ends she has given Pledges namely
the witnesses of the Will
