Maughold
Feb 24th 1836
In the name of God Amen.
I Anne Creetch als Corteen of the
parish of Maughold now at a perfect mind
and memory calling to mind the uncertancy
of human life and to avoid disputing after
my death do hereby make this my last
Will and Testament in manner and form
following.
First I commit my Soul to God
and my body to Christian burial
Secondly I do leave and bequeat unto my
grand daughter Margaret Kinnish the down
of my feather bed and half of my cow
which is now upon the premises called Eary chorlley
Thirdly I do leave and bequeath unto
my grand daughter Mary Corteen the other
half of my aforesaid cow.
Fourthly I do leave and bequeathunto
my daughter Ann Corteen all the
rest of the goods and effects which are
at present upon the said premises.
Fifthly I do leave and bequeath unto
my grand daughter Margaret Corkill
the sum of twelve pounds British to
be paid her by my execturix hereafter
mentioned.
Sixthly I do leave and bequeath unto
my son Robert Creetch ten shillings
and sixpence British. Last I this .. do
revoke and make void all my former
wills.
Seventhly I do leave and bequeath unto
my son Edward Creetch one shilling
British cash.
Eighthly I do leave and bequeath unto
my grandson Thomas Corkill (that is
Thommy Ballagarry's son) all my sheep.
Ninthly and lastly I do constitute
nominate and appoint my daughter
Catharine Corkill als Creetch whole
and sole Executrix of all the rest of
my goods and effects bonds and notes
to be enjoyed by her as her own right
and property. In tetemony hereof
I have hereunto subscribed my name
or mark this 26th day of Feb 1836.

Ramsey 10th November 1837
Charles Callow of the Parish of Maughold is ap=-
=pointed and sworn Exor in trust in form of Law (for the
benefit of the Exorx named and her hus=
=band Pat. Corkill who is incapable) and he
hath given Pledges for the Payment of Debts and
Legacies namely the Witness James Fargher and
William Christian both of Maughold
