At a Chapter Court, holden at Kirk Michael 10th June 1837

Isabella Cain of the parish of Kirk Michael having departed this life on or about the Thirteenth day of July last intestate; and this Court
having received intelligence thereof hath (for the preservation of the right of all persons concerned) decreed Henry Cain
administrator of all and singular the goods, rights, credits, chattels, and effects, moveable and immoveable whatever of the said deceased. And the said Henry
Cain is thereupon sworn, well and truly to administer the same, to pay all the intestate's, just
debts, so far forth as the goods will extend and the Law bind; and return into the Episcopal Registry a full, true, and perfect
Inventory thereof, and an accurate account of all transactions touching the same when thereunto lawfully required.
And to these ends he hath given Pledges in form of Law, namely Thomas Cannell and Robert Quayle both of the Parish of Michael
Decretum est J. B.Marshall.

Know all men by these Presents, that We, Thomas Cannel of in the Parish of Michael and Robert Quayle of in the Parish
of Michael are held and firmly bound to William Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann, and his Successors, in the Sum of thirty pounds
British; to the Payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind Ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns,
jointly and severally, by these presents, to the said Lord Bishop and his Successors.
Witness our Subscriptions, this 10th day of June 1837

Whereas the ECCLESIASTICAL COURT of this Island hath this Day grated Administration of the estate and effects of Isabella
Cain deceased, to Henry Cain
Now the condition of the above Obligation is such, that if the said Henry Cain shall well and truly administer the Estate and Effects of
the said Isabella Cain deceased; and shall in all Things relating thereto conform to the Laws of this Isle, the Orders of the
Ecclesiastical Courts thereof, and the Oath he hath this day taken, then the foregoing Obligation to be void, otherway to be and
remain in full force and virtue in Law.
