15 Malew
In the name of God Amen.
I John Mylchreest of Ballamoda in parish of KK Malew being in firm in
body health but of disposing mind and memory and calling to mind the
uncertainty of this mortal life and in order to settle my worldly goods
and effects do make this my last will and testament as in manner
following.
First I commit my soul to God and by body to a Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my children Eliza, Ann, Isabella, Jane,
Humphrey, Esther, Sophia, and Daniel the sum of five shillings.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath to the Wesleyan Methodist Missionaries the sum
of eight pounds British.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Mylchreest all the
remainder of my goods and effects of whatsoever kind and do nominate and
appoint her whole executrix excluding all cravers with one shilling
each as witness my subscription this 28th May 1836.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 7th day of June 1837.
Elizabeth Mylchreest the executrix in the foregoing will named is sworn
in court in form of law well and truly to execute the last will and
testament of John Mylchreest deceased to pay all his just debts and legacies
so far as the goods and effects of the deceadent will extend and the law
bind her and to do all other acts and deeds pertaining to the
office of executrix according to law and to these ends she has given pledges
namely John Bridson and William Bridson of the parish of Malew.
