In the name of God Amen.
I Isabella Callow wife of John Callow decd
in the parish of Lonan being weak
in body but of sound Memory and
Judgement at the making hereof do
dispose of my wordly goods and effects
as follows
First I commend my soul to God who
gave it and my body to the earth
to be buried in a Christian like decent
manner at the discretion of my executors
Secondly I leave and bequeath unto my
son William Callow the field which
was purchased providing he is to pay
four guineas for the same to my
Executors
Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter
Ellenor Corkill the sum of one guinea
Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto my
daughter Ann Skillicorn the sum
of one guinea
Fifthly I leave and bequeath unto my
daughter Jane Brew the sum of
four guineas with a quilt
a blanket and sheet
Lastly I nominate appoint and ordain
my daughters Margt Callow and
Catherine Callow whole and sole
Executors of all my goods chattels
and effects cash and credits and
all things to me belonging moveable
and immoveable of whatsoever kind
or denomination soever. My said
Executors to be jointly and equally
in all my goods chattels and effects
excepting my chest which I bequeath
unto Catherine Callow my daughter
above mentioned: And this I declare
to be my last will and testament
as witness my subscription or mark
this the 28th day of December 1826
N.B. Should any person or persons claim a
right to this my will I leve and bequeath
them [6d] legacy each.

At a Chapter Court holden in
Douglas on the 22d day of May 1838
Margaret Callow and Cath Callow the
Executrices in the foregoing will named are
sworn in Court in form of Law well and truly
to execute the last will and testament of Isabella
Callow deceased to pay all her just debts
legacies and funeral expences so far as the
goods and effects of the deceadent will extend
and the law bind them and to be true and
just the one to the other in the division of the
resideum of the estate and to do all other
acts and deed pertaining to the office of
Executrices according to law. And to these ends
they have given pledges namely Thomas
Looney of the Parish of Lonan one of the
witnesses of the Will.
