In the name of God Amen.
I John Quine of Glentraugh in the parish of St Ann being at present weak
in body but of sound disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare
this my last will and testament in manner following:
I commit my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial at the
discretion of my executrix hereinafter mentioned.
I give and bequeath unto my son John the sum of one pound British.
I give and bequeath unto my son William the sum of one pound British
I give and bequeath unto my son James the sum of sixty pounds British.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Christian now the wife of James Hales
the sum of twenty pounds British.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine now the wife of Cleave Kinley
the sum of one pounds British together with the hundred pounds already
advanced to her said husband.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the sum of twenty pounds British.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Esther the sum of twenty pounds
British.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of twenty pounds
British.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter  - missing info. (I suppose it is
Margaret Quine leaving her twenty pounds)
I nominate constitute and appoint my wife Esther Quine whole and sole
executrix of this my last will and testament and residuary legatee of all
the rest of my goods chattels and effects of what kind or nature soever they
be.
As witnesses my subscription this the 6th day of April 1838.

9 May 1838 at a Court holden at KK Santan.
Executrix sworn in court and hath given pledges John Karran and John Quine
for the sum of one thousand pounds British.
