	I John Harrison of Close Vark in
The parish of Andreas do a make this my
Last Will and Testament in manner and
Memory at the execution thereof
First	I commit my soul to Almighty God
	And my Body to a Christian Burial
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my son Thomas
	    Harrison a dwelling house in the town 
	    Of Douglas known by the name of Ned 
	    Caley’s house; also a parcel of land in
Lezayre called “Close Charm” likewise
 	     A Mear (Rose) and alack and the said
 	     Thomas Harrison t6o pay to my daughter
 	     Mary Harrison the sum of ten pounds
	     British on his getting possession of the 
	     Foregoing articles likewise that my 
	     Beloved wife Ann Harrison is to enjoy
	     The benefit of the said house as long as 
	      She lives.
Thirdly I leave my daughter Mary a feather bed
	  And bedding
Item I leave and bequeath to my son Andrew
	   Harrison the whole of my apparel and
	   Also two of my sheep
Item	 I leave and bequeath to the remainder 
	 Of my children one shilling and sixpence
	 British each in addition to what
	 They have already received.
Item	 I leave and bequeath my wife Ann Harrison
	 Residuary Legatee of the remainder of 
	 My property of whatever kind soever move
	 Able or immovable cash chattels or effects
	 Appointing and nominating her my said
	 Wife Executrix to this my Last Will and 
	 Testament debarring all and every
	  Person that may claim in this my will
	 With sixpence Legacy. Also ordaining 
	 The subscribing witnesses of this my will
	  To be paid by my said executrix each
	 The sum of one shilling and sixpence
	  British as witness my subscription
	  This the 9th day of Sept 1837

		At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey
		On the 25th day of May 1838
Ann Harrison the Executrix in the foregoing
Will named is sworn in Court in form of Law
And well and truly to execute the Last Will and
Testament of John Harrison deceased to pay
All his just Debts Legacies and funeral expenses
So far as the goods and effects of the decedent
Will extend and the Law bind her and to do
All other acts and deeds pertaining to the
Office of Executrix according to Law and 
To these ends she has given pledges namely
Thomas Harrison and William Radcliffe
