In the name of God Amen.
I John Mylchreest of Ballagarraghyn in the parish of KK German being at
present weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding do make this my last will and testament in form and
manner following:
First:  I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to a decent
Christian burial.
Secondly I leave bequeath and devise unto my sister Elizabeth Colvill
alias Mylchreest the sum of five pounds British.
Thirdly I leave bequeath and devise unto my sister Charlotte Leece alias
Mylchreest the sum of five pounds British.
Laslty I nominate constitute and appoint Philip Black of the town of Peel
whole and sole executor of all the rest of my moneys bills bonds goods
chattels and effects of what kind or nature soever moveable and immoveable
and of this my last will and testament hereby excluding and debarring all
and every person or persons claiming or pretending to claim
in this my last will and testament with one shilling legacy.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name or mark to my name
this the eighteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and thirty nine.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael on the 20th day of Nov 1839. Philip
Clark the executor in the foregoing will named is sworn in court in form of
law well and truly to execute the last will and testament of
John Mylchreest deceased to pay all his just debts legacies and funeral
expenses so far as the goods and effects of the deceadent will extend
and the law bind him and to do all other acts and deeds pertaining to the
office of executor according to law and to these ends he has given
pledges namely Henry Clucas and Robert Clark both the town of Peel.
