In the name of God Amen.
I Susannah Mylrea widow of the Reverend Daniel Mylrea late Archdeacon
of this Isle being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding
at the making hereof but taking into consideration the uncertainty of
this life do make this my last will and testament in manner following
hereby revoking any former will by me made.
First I resign my soul to God and my body to Christian burial at the
discretion of my executrix hereinafter named.
I leave and bequeath to my son Daniel Mylrea the sum of ten pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath to my cousin Jane Christian the sum or annuity of
fifteen pounds British to be paid to her by my executrix yearly and every
year during the natural life of the said Jane Christian and commencing from
the day of my death.  Also my second  best bed bedstead and hangings with
bedding complete as the same may stand at the time of my death.
I leave and bequeath to my niece Alicia Gawne the sum of three pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath to my cousin Jane Christian, junior, the like sum of
three pounds British.
I leave and bequeath to William Hinds Esquire the sum of five pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath to William Watson Christian the sum of five pounds
British. (son of Thos Christian and Ann Oates or Murray)
I leave and bequeath to the Rector and Wardens of the parish of Andreas the
sum of twenty pounds British to be by them laid out at interest for
the benefit of the poor of the said parish.
Lastly I do nominate constitute and appoint my daughter Susannah Alice Lyons
wife of Phillip Moyle Lyons whole and sole executrix of this my
last will and  testament and residuary legatee of all and singular the
remainders of my goods, credits, chattels, and effects of  every
denomination ­ mortgages, securities for money, bonds, notes, book
debts, and all other my property of every description.
In witness whereof I the said Susannah Mylrea have hereunto subscribed my
name this the twenty ninth day of December in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and thirty six 1836.  Susannah Mylrea
