In the name of God, amen. I WILLIAM TAGGART of Moneymoar 
in the Parish of KK Malew being infirm in health but of 
disposing mind and memory and knowing the uncertainties 
of this mortal life do make this my last Will and Testament 
as in manner following: First, I commit my soul to 
Almighty God and my body to Christian burial.  
Secondly, I leave and bequeath to my DAUGHTER JANE TAGGART 
the sum of 20 pounds Manks (which is to be paid by my SON 
PAUL TAGGART when he possesses my share of the Land).  
Thirdly, I leave and bequeath to my DAUGHTER MARGARET 
(EDWARD GALE'S WIFE) the sum of 20 pounds Manks which is 
to be paid by my SON PAUL TAGGART when he possess my share 
of the Land.  
Fourthly, I leave and bequeath to my SON PAUL TAGGART after 
my death all my right and title to the part of the Money 
Moar where I live provided that the said PAUL TAGGART do 
pay the before mentioned legacies to my DAUGHTERS JANE 
AND MARGARET without dispute but if he the said PAUL TAGGART 
his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns will not 
pay said legacies that then and in that case I leave and 
bequeath my share of the lands before mentioned to my said 
DAUGHTERS JANE AND MARGARET afore said.  
Fifthly, I leave and bequeath to my GRANDSON JOHN GALE my 
share of the clock.  
Sixthly, I leave and bequeath to my GRANDSON PAUL TAGGART 
a two year old heifer and the bedstead the bed and bed 
cloth that I now sleep on.  
Seventhly, I leave and bequeath to my DAUGHTER JANE afore 
said all the residue and remainder fof all my goods and 
effects of whatever kind and do nominate and appoint her 
the said JANE MY DAUGHTER Executrix excluding all cravers 
with two shillings and 6 pence each, as witness my name 
this 28th January 1833.

AS A CODICIL TO THE ABOVE Will and Testament and upon 
second consideration respecting my provisions made for my 
DAUGHTER JANE TAGGART being less than it ought to have been 
on account of the care and attention she has paid to me I 
now (in addition to the above mentioned arrangement on her 
be xxxx leave and bequeath unto her the said JANE TAGGART 
during her natural life the sum of two pounds British to 
be annually paid to her out of the xxxx of my xxxx property 
by my SON PAUL on conditions of the above Will for which 
in default of payment (said property xxxx) the said annuity 
becoming due twelve months after the date of his possession 
of said land.  And also in presence of the undersigned 
witnesses I do acknowledge the whole of the above Will 
signed by John Mylechreest senior and John Mylechreest 
junior to be my last will and fully according to my wish. 
Witness my name and signature this twelfth day of September 
one thousand eight hundred and thirty six, Septr 12th 1836.
