At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael 29th May 1840.  Philip Quirk of the
parish of KK Patrick having departed this life on or about the nineteenth
day of May instant intestate, and this court having received intelligence
thereof, hath, for the preservation of the rights of all
persons concerned; decreed William Quirk, Catherine Shimmin wife of Thomas
Shimmin, Elizabeth Gill wife of William Gill, Jane Clucas wife
of Thomas Clucas the children of John Quirk; Philip Quirk and Ann wife of
Thomas Martin all deceased, and Margery Killey wife of Edward Killey
also decease, children of the said Philip Quirk deceased co
administrators of all and singular the goods, rights, credits, chattels,
and effects, moveable and immoveable whatever of the said deceadent. And
they the said William Quirk, Thomas Shimmin, William Gill and
Thomas Clucas are in trust for themselves and others the next of kin of said
deceadent thereupon sworn, well and truly to administer the same,
to pay all  the intestate's just debts so far forth as the goods will
extend and the law bind; and return into the Episcopal Registry, a full
true and perfect inventory thereof and an accurate account of all
transactions touching the same when thereunto lawfully required.   And
to these ends they have given pledges in form of law namely Cæsar
Wattleworth of Ballaquayle in the parish of German and Robert Christian
of Gordon in the parish of Patrick.

Memorandum of Agreement made and entered into the 30 October 1841 between Wm
Bridson, Philip Killey, and John Johnston of the one part and Wm Gell Thomas
Clucas, Thomas Clucas and Wm Quirk administrators of the estate of Philip
Quirk of Treljai deceased as follows:
The said Wm Bridson Philip Killey and John Johnston hereby give up
release and quit claim all right, interest, claim, or demand which they
have or could have in and to any share or participation in the estate or
effects of the said Philip Quirk to which they are or could be entitled in
right of their wives namely Margaret wife of said Wm Bridson, Catharine wife
of said Philip Killey and Ann wife of said John Johnston and which Margaret,
Catharine, and Ann were the daughters of John Quirk deceased who was the son
of the said Philip Quirk deceased.
And the said Wm Gell, Thos Shimmin, Thos Clucas and  Wm Quirk the
administrators of the said  Philip Quirk hereby give up release and quit
claim all right interest claim or demand which they have or may or could
have upon the  said Wm Bridson, Philip Killey, and John Johnston all the
next of kin of said John Quirk for or on account of the estate or effects
of the said John Quirk in anyway.  And for the true and faithful performance
hereof the parties bind themselves their heirs, exors, admors, and assigns
each to the other in the penalty of one hundred pounds to be levied and paid
according to law.  Witness their names:
