In the name of God Amen.
I Mary Callow of the town of Ramsey widow and relict of the late Edward
Callow being at present of sound mind memory and understanding do proceed
and make the following as and for my last will and testament hereby revoking
all other wills by me heretofore made.
First I commit by soul to God and my body to decent Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my niece Ann Christian wife of Doctor
Thomas Christian of Ramsey the sum of twenty five pounds British the same to
be paid here out of the amount of a Bond and Security for one hundred pounds
which I hold on the property of Thomas Looney / Yack/ together with the one
half and moiety of my household property furniture and effects and also a
good feather bed, bedding and bedstead as legacy. Thirdly I leave and
bequeath to Jane Corlett widow of Thomas Corlett deceased my niece the sum
of twenty five pounds British the same to be paid out of the bond and
Security aforesaid together with the other half and moiety of my household
furniture and effect and also a good feather bed, bedding, and bedstead as
legacy.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath to my nephew John Christian of the town of
Ramsey Iron Monger, my right title property and interest in and to
certain lands and premises situate in Glenaldyn in Lezayre called
Laggagh Veg and the Crehagh or some such name or names held jointly between
Widow Cottiman and myself as legacy.
Fifthly I leave and bequeath to the minister and wardens for the time
being of St Paul's Church Ramsey the sum of five pounds British to be by
them paid to the poor of Ramsey as legacy.
Sixthly and lastly - I hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said
John Christian sole and whole executor of all the rest residue and remainder
of my goods cash credits chattels and effects and residuary legatee of this
my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this first day
of December 1840.

By virtue of Vicar General Corlett's order upon the petition of John
Christian dated 28th instant I have served and charged Thos Martin, Edward
Martin, William Christian, Ann Sprainger and Ealey Christian next
of kin of Mary Callow late deceased to appear at a court to be holden in
Ramsey on Friday next to answer the petition and suit of said petition
this 28th March 1841. Danl Christian
Jane Corlett widow of Thomas Corlett of Ramsey rec'd 25 pounds 11
June 1842.
Thomas Christian surgeon of Ramsey rec'd 25 pounds with one half and moiety
of the household property furniture and effects and also a good feather bed,
bedding, and bedstead a legacy bequeathed to my wife Ann Christian 14 day of
June 1842. Thos Christian.
