                Santan
In the name of God Amen.
We Thomas Moore of Sulbrick in the parish of Santan and Isabella Moore
my wife being of sound disposing mind and memory at the making hereof and
calling to mind the uncertainty of life and to avoid disputes after
our decease do make or ordain this our joint last will and testament in
manner following.
We commit our souls to God and our bodies to a Christian burial at the
discretion of our executor herein after named.
We give and bequeath unto our daughter Ann wife of Charles  Bell of
Ballasalla in the parish of Malew the sum of two pounds British.
We give and bequeath to our daughter Alice wife of Thos Kennish of the Reash
in aforesaid parish of Santan the sum of two pounds British.
We give and bequeath to our daughter Emma wife of Thomas Kennish of
Ballagick in said parish of Santan the sum of two pounds of British.
We give and bequeath unto our daughter Isabella wife of William Tear of
Malew the sum of two pounds British.
We give and bequeath unto our daughter Jane wife of Thomas Mylechreest of
Douglas the sum of two pounds British and a cow.
We give and bequeath unto our son John the sum of two pounds British.
We give and bequeath unto our son Thomas the sum of  two pounds
British.
We give and bequeath unto our son William the sum of two pounds
British.
We give and bequeath unto our son Robert all and singular those lands houses
and premises situate in the said parish of Santan commonly
called and known by the name of "Ballacurry" with all the rights
members and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
or being therewith usually held occupied or enjoyed and bounded as in a Deed
of Settlement of the said premises unto him our
said son bearing date the 3rd day of October 1833 may appear.  He our said
son paying in consideration of the said Settlement and this bequeath unto
his brother Charles the sum of fifty pounds British.
We give and bequeath  unto our son Charles the sum of of fifty pounds
British to which  he is entitled by the aforesaid settlement of the 3rd
October 1833.
We give and bequeath unto our granddaughter Ann Bridson the sum of one pound
British.
We nominate constitute and appoint our said son Robert executor of this our
last will and testament and residuary legatee of all the rest of our goods
and effects of what kind or nature soever they be and do hereby revoke and
make null and void all other wills by us at anytime heretofore made and do
publish this only to be our joint last will and testament.
As witness our subscriptions this the 15th day of January 1835.

The executor sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for
the payment of debts and legacies namely John Karran of Ballahowin and
Robert Keig of Hamptons Croft both in the parish of Santan.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown 5th October 1842.
Know all men by these presents that we the undersigned legatees named
in the joint last will and testament of Thomas and Isabella Moore late of
Sulbrick in the parish of Santan deceased, namely Ann Bell (widow), Thomas
Kinnish of the Reash in the parish of Santan in behalf of my wife Alice;
Thomas Kinnish of Ballagick in the behalf of my wife Emma,
William Tear of Malew in behalf of my wife Isabella; Thomas Mylchreest
in behalf of my wife Jane; John Moore, Thomas Moore, William Moore, Charles
Moore, and Ann Bridson do hereby severally own and acknowledge to have
received and been fully paid by Robert Moore the executor of the said will
the respective sums and legacies bequeathed unto us in and by
the said joint last will and testament of our aforesaid deceased parents
bearing date the 15th day of January 1835.  And we do hereby acquit
exonerate and discharge him the said Robert Moore in his capacity aforesaid
of all and any further claim or demand on account of our said deceased
parents.  And we do hereby severally request that the said legacies may
forthwith be and do remain cancelled on record.
As witness our subscription this the 30th day of Sep 1842.
