In the Name of God Amen
I Anne Sansbury of the Parish of
KK Christ Rushen being at present
weak in body, but of sound mind
and memory, and calling to mind the
uncertainty of Human life do make this
my last Will and Testament hereby
revoking all former Wills in manner
following: -
First I committ my Soul to God and my Body
to Christian Burial to be decently intered
at the discretion of my Executor herein
after mentioned
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my son John
the houses and Lands and Benson’s
explanation of the Bible he paying for
the Bible about half what it cost
Thirdly I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Anne
Feather Bed Boulster pillow sheet Blanket
and quilt while she lives and after her
decease to lie for my Grand daughter
Anne Gawne ..............
Fourthly I leave and bequeath to my Daughter
Anne, my Daughter Margaret, my Daughter
Jane and my Daughter Elizabeth my wearing
apparel and whatever money belongs
to me – Except the value of the Bible
to be equally between them ........
Fifthly and lastly I nominate constitute and
appoint my son in Law John Gawne whole
and sole Executor of all the rest of my goods
and effects moveable and immoveable of
what kind soever – hereby depriving any
person or persons who will claim with
Five shillings legacy.............

The Extr is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given
pledges for the payment of Debts and Legacies namely
Wm Gawne of Glen Sharp & Thos Moore of Surbie in
the Parish of Rushen
