        Lezayre
At a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey 31st May 1844.
Ann Mylecharane of the parish of Kirk Christ Lezayre having departed
this life sometime ago Intestate; and this court having received
intelligence thereof, hath (for the preservation of the rights of all
persons concerned) Decreed her nine children namely John Mylcorraine, Thos
Mylecorraine, Ann wife of Andrew Teare, Jane wife of John Sayle, Cathe wife
of Jos Kneale, Elizth wife of James cleator, Esther wife of
John Kneale, Isabella wife of James Oates and Margt Wife of Henry
Corkill co-administrators of all and singular the goods, rights, credits,
chattels and effects, moveable and immoveable whatever of the said
deceadent.  And by consent of parties John Cowley of the parish of Lezayre
is in trust thereupon sworn, well and truly to administer the
same to pay all the intestates just debts, so far forth as the goods will
extend and the laws bind; and return into the Episcopal Registry a full,
true, and perfect inventory thereof, and an accurate account of all
transactions, touching the same when thereunto lawfully required.
And to these ends he hath given pledges in form of law, namely John Cowley
of Crammag in the parish of Lezayre and James Oates of
Ballaoney in the parish of Kirk Michael.    Decretum Est      T. A. Corlett.
Whereas Ann Mylecharane of the parish of Lezayre of the quarterland of
Corady departed this life on or about the 19th day of March last instant
1844 leaving at the time of her decease nine children namely John
Mylecharaine, Thomas Mylecharaine, Ann wife of Andrew Teare, Jane
wife of John Sayle, Catharine wife of Joseph Kneale, Elizabeth wife of James
Cleator, Esther wife of John Kneale, Isabella wife of James Oates, and
Margaret wife of Henry Corkill.
And whereas she the said Ann Mylecharaine died intestate not being in a
sufficient state of mind to make or sign a will or to settle her temporal
affairs.  They the aforesaid children or their husbands respectively have
come to the following agreement, and which said agreement takes place
in order to avoid all litigation at law or the expenditure of money.  Now
therefore that we Andrew Teare, John Sayle, Joseph Kneale, James
Cleator and Henry Corkill doth by these presents give, grant and pass
over unto Thomas Mylecharaine, John Kneale and James Oats all our
rights title property claim and interest of and unto the estate property and
effects of the late Mrs Anne Mylecharaine and do fully give up the
said right if any ever existed upon receiving for our wives each a
mourning gown which said gowns we then presents admit having
received the receipt of which is now acknowledged.
And further we authorize and appoint Thomas Mylecharaine, John Kneale and
James Oates to recover, make use of, and be fully entitled to the residue of
the estate, goods, and effects of the said late deceased Mrs Ann
Mylecharaine and to make use of the same as their own in all
respects.
And James Cleator husband of Elizth Cleator gives up all his right and
interest in the premises for the sole use of Thomas Mylecharane and for him
only.
In witness whereof we have come to the following understanding and agreement
previous to the signing hereof that they the  said Thomas Mylecharaine, John
Kneale and James Oates are to pay all the outstanding debts due by the late
Mrs Ann Mylecharaine.
