      Santan
The humble petition of James Quine of the town of Douglas Druggist. Sheweth:
That Esther Quine your petitioner's mother some short time since departed
this life in the parish of Santan leaving her surviving son petitioner, John
Quine, Catherine the wife of Cleave Kinely, Margt Quine, Esther Quine, Ann
Quine and Elizth Quine all of the said parish of Santan and William Quine of
the parish  of Malew.
That it is expedient and necessary that some fit and proper person
should be appointed administrator of the  goods and effects of the said
Esther Quine.
Wherefore petitioner prays a hearing hereof and that your Reverence may be
pleased to swear in your petitioner or some other fit and proper
person to act as administrator of the estate and effects of the said Esther
Quine and petitioner will pray.  Ridgeway  for petitioner.

At an Eccl Court held in Douglas the 18th July 1845.
Esther Quine having departed this life intestate leaving the petitioners
James Quine, Jo Quine, Catharine wife of Cleave Kinely, Margaret Quine,
Esther Quine and Anne Quine and Elizth Quine minors and Wm Quine her next of
kin who are therefore decreed joint administrators of all and singular the
goods rights credits chattels and effects of the said
deceased and the petitioner James Quine being recommended as a fit and
proper person to undertake the administration of the said estate  the
said James Quine is therefore sworn in trust well and truly to
administer the said estate and to pay all just debts and funeral expenses of
the deceadant so far forth as the goods will extend and the law bind
him and to return to the Episcopal Registory of this diocese a full true
and perfect inventory of the said estate with an accurate account of his
acts and proceedings in the premises when then unto lawfully required
and to these ends he has given pledges namely the said John Quine and Cleave
Kinley who have entered into a bond to that effect in presents of the court
and in due form of law.
