In the name of God Amen.
I Thomas Mylchreest of Ballagarraghan in the parish of Kirk German
being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding at the making hereof
but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make this my
last will and testament in manner and form following.
First I commend my soul to Almighty God in the hope of a joyful resurrection
and my body to be decently buried by my executrix herein after named.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Dinwoody the sum of
fifty pounds sterling.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann Clark the sum of fifty
pounds sterling and also the goods and household furniture which I purchased
at the sale of her late husband's effects.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath to my son Phillip the sum of ten pounds
sterling.
Fifthly I leave and bequeath to my daughters Elizabeth and Eunice the
sum of two hundred and fifty pounds sterling each.
Sixthly I leave and bequeath to my sons Henry and Evan the sum of two
hundred and fifty pounds sterling each.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my wife Ann Mylchreest whole
and sole executrix and residuary legatee of this my will  - revoking all
other will or wills by me heretofore made - declaring this to be my last
and barring all other claimants with five shilling legacies.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this twentieth
day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty six.

Probate granted 11 Dec 1846  to Ann Mylchreest.
Margaret Dinwoody of the Green in the parish of Malew widow rec'd fifty
pounds legacy 17 Feb 1852.
Elizabeth Mylchreest received two hundred and fifty pounds as Mrs John Gell
of Kennaa in the said parish of German by indenture dated 15 May 1852.
Philip Mylchreest received ten pounds bequeathed to me 20 May 1850.
