In the name of God Amen.
I John Quayle of the parish of Santan am at present weak in body but of
sound disposing mind and memory at the making hereof, do publish this
to be my last will and testament in manner following (that is to say)
First I commit my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial at the
discretion of my Executrix herein after mentioned.
Secondly I leave and bequeath unto my eldest son Robert the sum of one
shilling.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my son John the sum of one shilling.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto my son Thomas the sum of one
shilling.
Fifthly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret the sum of one
shilling.
Sixthly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Ann the sum of one
shilling.
Seventhly I leave and bequeath unto my affectionate wife Margaret
Quayle (alias Morrison) all and singular my houses, lands, money or cash,
cows, chattels, or effects.
Eighthly I leave and bequeath unto all claimers the sum of six pence each.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint Margaret (my wife ) executrix of
this my last will and testament and do hereby revoke make null and void
all other wills by me at any time heretofore made and do publish this and
this only to be my last will and testament.
As witness my subscription this the 6th day of January One thousand
eight hundred and forty six - 1846.
