        At a Chapter Court, holden at Douglas 27th May 1846 Jane Hutchin of the
Parish of Kirk Lonan having departed this life on or about the fourteenth
day of January last past Intestate; and this Court having received
intelligence thereof hath (for the preservation of the rights of all
persons concerned) Decreed her husband James Hutchin and the children James
Hutchin, John Hutchin, Thomas Hutchin, Isabella Hutchin, Margaret Hutchin,
Ellinor Hutchin and Jane Hutchin coadministrators of all and singular the
Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels, and Effects, moveable and immoveable of
the said Deceadent. And in trust he the said James Hutchin senior is
thereupon sworn, well and truly to Administer the same, to pay all the
Intestates' just Debts, so far forth as the Goods will extend and the Law
bind; and return into the Episcopal Registry a full, true, and perfect
Inventory thereof, and an accurate Account of all Transactions, touching
the same when thereunto lawfully required and to these ends the said James
Hutchin hath given Pledges in form of Law, namely John Killip and John
Cowley both of Ballacollister in the Parish of Lonan.
