The will and testament of Robert Moore anno domini 1847.
In the name of God Amen.
I Robert Moore of the Eary in the parish of KK Patrick being at present weak
in body but sound mind memory and understanding at the making of this my
last will and testament in form and manner as following
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to a decent
Christian burial.
I leave devise and bequeath unto the children of my daughter Ann the sum
twenty pounds equally between them.
I leave devise and bequeath unto my daughter Ann the sum of five pounds. I
leave devise and bequeath unto my wife all the goods that is within the
dwelling house.
I leave devise and bequeath unto John Woods the son of my daughter  Ann all
the bought lands and will possess it after my death and the death of
my wife.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my loving daughter Eleanor wife
of John Clagues whole and sole executor of all the rest or residue of my
goods effects and chattels moveable and unmovable and of all my money bonds
what kind or nature soever and of this my last will and testament hereby
cutting off and debarring all and every person or persons
claiming or pretending a claim in this my last will and testament with
six pence legacy in testimony whereof I have unto set my mark to my name
this the 23rd day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty seven.

At a Chapter Court holden at Peel Town the 25th day of May 1848.  John
Clagues husband of Eleanor Clague the executrix sworn executor with pledges
being William Woods of Knocksharry in Kirk German and Robert Nowell of
Slieuwhallen in K Patrick.
