Know all men by these presents that I James Campbell of the parish of Kirk German being
of sound mind but weak of body
1st --- I give my soul to almighty god and my body to a christian burial.
I likewise do will to my wife Sarah Campbell the sum of 6 pounds stirling per annum during
the lease sublet to David Donaldson.
I likewise do will to David Donaldson the sum of six shillings and sixpence due from
Thomas Quine jnr and in consideration that my wife Sarah Campbell should die before
the said lease granted to David Donaldson, I will the said 6 pounds per annum to my
daughter Nancy Campbell alias Donaldson----------I likewise will to my sons Alexander and
Thomas Campbell the sum of one shilling each to be paid to them by my wife Sarah
Donaldson .
I do ye appoint D. Donaldson executor of this my last will and testament.
