        Michael
The humble petition of James Kerrin of the parish of Michael.
Sheweth:  That on the 28th January last your petitioners father Thomas
Kerrin departed this life intestate.  That the goods and effects of the
deceased are trifling and the they have been appraised by the Sumner of
Michael they are in a perishable state.
Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing of this petition and that your
worship may be pleased to appoint him administrator according to law
with such other relief as to your worship may seem meet and your petr
will pray.          James Kerrin

Ordered that this petition do come onto be heard before me at an Eccl Court
to be held in Ramsey on Tuesday the 20th instant whereof all
proper parties and persons are to have due notice.

At an Eccl Court held in Ramsey the 20th Feb 1849.
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties and it appearing
that Thomas Kerrin late of KK Michael departed this life intestate
leaving issue the petrs James Kerrin, John Kerrin, Charles Kerrin,
Margaret wife of Robt Fayle and Jane wife of James Younghusband who
are therefor decreed joint administrators of all and singular the goods
rights credits chattels and effects of the said deceased and the said James
Kerrin is sworn in trust well and truly to administer the said
estate to pay all just debts and funeral expenses of the decease so far
forth as the goods will extend and the law bind him.  And to return to the
Episcopal Registry of this diocese in full true and perfect inventory of
the said estate with an accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the
premises when their unto lawfully required and to these ends he has given
pledges namely John Crowe of the Garty-buck and Wm Cowley of Ballacregga in
the parish of Michael who have in presence of the court entered into the
usual bond.   Decretum est  T. A.Corlett.
I do hereby acknowledge that I agree to admit of James Kerrin my son to be
administrator to the whole of the goods and effects of Thos Kerrin my
husband deceased as witness my subscription this the 20th day of Febry 1849.
