41        Rushen
In the name of God Amen.
I Robert Moore of Ballaglonney in the parish of KK Christ Rushen being at
present weak in body but of sound mind and memory and calling to mind the
uncertainty of human life, do make this my last will and testament
in hereby revoking all former wills in manner following:
First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial to be decently
interred at the direction of my executor herein after mentioned. 2ndly I
leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane sixty pounds sterling to
be paid to her at the age of twenty one years.
3rdly I leave and bequeath to my three sons namely Robert, John and William
thirty pounds sterling to each of them to get them instructed to trade and
if there be any remaining of the before mentioned sums it is to be paid to
each of them when they arrive to the age of twenty one years and provided
any of these four before mentioned Jane, Robert, John, and William depart
this life before they arrive at the age of twenty one
years the rest is to have it divided between them.
4thly My son Thomas namely my heir at law are to pay the before mentioned
sums or legacies on account of bought lands and money paid
for title purchased from the crown.
5thly And if my son Thomas  namely my heir at law depart this life
before the before mentioned sums or legacies is paid or settled his
successor is to fill up his place in the accomplishment thereof.
6thly and Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my wife Margaret
Moore also Bell whole and sole executor of all the rest  of my goods and
effects moveable and immoveable of what kind soever hereby depriving any
person or persons who will claim with what the law requires. Robert Moore

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown 11th May 1849 Margaret Moore sworn
executrix with pledges being John Sansbury of Surby and Thomas Moore of
Ballafresson both of the parish of Rushen.
Probate granted 11 May 1849

Jane Moore received legacy 7 Jun 1849
Robert Moore received legacy 18 Jul 1870.
William Moore received his legacy 14 Sep 1870 who was living at
present in Adelaide Australia.
