Sheweth
That Ellinor Kewley late
of Ballacoar in the Parish of
Lonan widow the mother of the petitioners
Ellinor Crellin, Jane Quine, James
Kewley, John Kewley and Isabella
Kermode sometime ago departed
this life intestate – That petitioners
are desirous that administration should
be granted to the Estate and Effects of said
Ellinor Kewley and beg leave to propose
Edward Christian of Ballakilmartin in
the Parish of Onchan as a fit and proper
person to represent this Estate of the said
Ellinor Kewley
Wherefor petitioner pray a hearing
hereof and that your Worship may
be pleased to grant administration
of the Estate and Effects of the said
Elinor Kewley in trust for petitioners
unto said Edward Christian or some
other fit and proper person and petrs [???]

at an Ecclesiastical Court to be holden in
