In the name of God Amen.
This is the last will and testament of Esther Stowell relict of the late
Thomas Stowell, Esquire, Clerk of the Rolls, Isle of Mann.
I give devise and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth Clark all monies,
goods, houses, ground rents, wearing apparel and other effects of what
nature or kind soever I may die possessed or be entitled unto at the time of
my decease.
And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said sister the
executrix and residuary legatee of this my will.  In witness whereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name this fifth day of January One thousand
eight hundred and fifty nine. (1849).         Esther Stowell
