This the last Will and Testament of John 
Radcliffe and Jane Radcliffe his wife of 
the parish of Andreas jointly made declared 
and published this the 21st Aug 1850 being 
of sound mind and memory at the making thereof.
1st We commit our souls to God and our 
bodies to a Christian burial.
2nd We leave and bequeath to our son William 
Radcliffe the sum of two shillings and 
six pence as legacies.
Item We leave and bequeath to our son Thomas 
Radcliffe the sum of Twenty shillings as legacy
Item We leave and bequeath to our son Robert 
Radcliffe the sum of ten pounds and the 
horse as legacy.
Item We leave and bequeath to our daughter 
Jane the sum of one pound as legacy.
Item We leave and bequeath to our daughter Ann 
the sum of ten pounds as legacy.
Item We leave and bequeath to our daughter 
Eleanor the sum of twenty pounds as legacy.
Lastly We appoint our son John Radcliffe executor 
of this our joint will and Testament and residuary 
legatee of the rest of our goods, cash, chattels, 
and effects. The whole of the above legacies are 
to be  paid  until after the death of the 
survivor of  us.
In witness whereof we here unto subscribe our 
names the date and day above written.
21st day 1850

		At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey
		On the 1st day of November 1850
Cesar Teare and John Radcliffe the subscribing 
witnesses to the foregoing paper writing 
purporting to be the Will of John Radcliffe 
deceased having made oath on the Holy Evangelists 
that said John Radcliffe the testator when of 
sound and disposing mind memory and understanding 
duly executed the same in their presence as and 
for his last willadn Testament John Radcliffe 
the executor therein named is therefore sworn 
well ands truly to fulfill and execute said will 
according to Law to pay all just debts legacies 
and funeral expenses of said Testator so far 
forth as the goods and effects will extend and 
the law bind him, and to return to the Episcopal 
Registry a full true and perfect inventory of 
said goods and effects with as accurate account 
of his administration thereof when thereunto 
lawfully required and to these ends he hath 
given pledges namely Cesar Teare and John Radcliffe 
who have executed a bond to that effect bearing 
equal date herewith.
