We Thomas Killip and Ann Killip my wife both of Moaney Vore in the parish of
German being of sound disposing mind and memory and understanding and
calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make this our joint last
will and testament as follows: First we and each of us do commit our souls
to God and our bodies to a christian burial. We leave devise and bequeath
to our son John Killip the Meddow purchased from John Tubman and the Meddow
called Cheneygarrow being part of the estate of Rhenast as legecy. We leave
devise and bequeath to:
Thomas Killip,son,5 shillings
William Killip,son, 1 pound
James Killip, son, 15 pounds
Catherine Killip, dau, wife of John Quayle, 5 shillings.
Ann Killip, dau, wife of Charles Cowley, 5 shillings.
Elenor Killip, dau, wife of John Caine, 1 pound.
Elizabeth Killip, dau, the wife of Robert Corlet, 5 shillings.
Mary Killip, dau, 20 pounds.
Jane Killip wife of John Halsal 1 pound.
Maria Killip 20 pounds.
And our will is that the one half of the legacies left and bequeathed by us
the said Thomas Killip and Ann Killip is to be paid after the death of the
first that will die of us and the other half after the death of the longest
liver or survivor of us. Lastly we constitute nominate and apoint the
longest liver or survivor of us the said Thomas Killip and Ann Killip whole
and sole executor or executrix of the rest and residue of our goods rights
cattels and effects movable and immovable of what kind or nature soever
excluding and declaring all person or persons that will clame any further
rights to our goods and effects at one shilling legacy each and we do
further leave devise and bequeath to the longest liver or survivor of us all
and singular our right and title to Rhenast Mill and all our purchased land
save and except what is devised together with all ways water and water
courses easments liberties and appurtenances there unto belonging to be the
absolute property of the survivers of us intestimony whereof we have here
unto subscribe or ordered our marks to our names this 28th of May 1851.
