The humble petition of Margaret Lewin
and Eleanor Lewin Minors beg
shewith Phillip Killey and Robert Corlett their Guardians
That Eleanor Lewin of the Town
of Douglas Widow your petitioners Mother
Some short time ago departed this life
Intestate --
That it is requisite administration
should be granted to the Estate and Effects
of the said Eleanor Lewin and petitioners
humbly submit the said Robert Corlett as
apt and proper Person to be appointed
administrator
to Aforesaid Estate
Wherefore petitioners pray a hearing
of this petition and that Your Worship
May be pleased to grant administration
to the Estate and Effects of the Said
Eleanor Lewin to the said Robert Corlett
above others fit and proper person and
petitioners will pray Your Honored Worship
Ordered that this petition be heard at Douglas
on Friday next whereof all parties to have notice

At an Eclesiastical Court met in Douglas the 14th Feb 1851
When hearing this petition in the presence of the parti es or their advocates
and it appearing that Eleanor Lewin in the petition names some
time ago departed this life intestate your Margt Lewin and
Elr Lewin both of whom are minors her only next of kin who
are therefore Decreed to be administratrices of all and singular the
Goods rights Credits Chattles and Effects of the aforesaid Estate according to
law to pay all just debts
and personal expenses so far forth as the Goods will
extend and the law bind him And to return to the Episcopal Registrars
a full true and perfect Inventory of the Aforesaid Estate with an
accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the ?? when thereunto lawfully
repuired and to these ends he has
given pledges namely Thomas Corlett and Edw Caine who have
entered into the usual Bond in presence of the Court --
