The humble petition of William Hampton of the parish of Maughold. Sheweth:
That Matthias Hampton your petitioneršs brother departed this life in the
month of May1850 intestate leaving your petitioner his only surviving
brother him surviving and leaving no other next of kindred but your
petitioner and Jane Hampton widow deceadents mother entitled to
his personal estate.
That it is expedient that your petitioner or some other fit and  proper
person should be appointed administrator of the estate of the said Matthias
Hampton.
Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing hereof and that your worship may
be pleased to appoint your petitioner administrator of the estate of the
said  Matthias Hampton and he will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be holden at
Ramsey on Friday next the 25th instant whereof all proper parties are to
have due notice.
