Know all men by these presents:
That I Jane Garrett, wife of William Garrett
of Pultree being part of Ballakaighan in the
Parish of German, being of sound mind and
judgement: 1st I resign my soul to Almightry God
who gave it; and my body to decent Christian
burial. 2nd I will all my share of the goods
effects and lands on the premises of Pultree
in the sd Parish to my loving husband
William Garrett of the said place and I do
hereby bind and oblige my husband William
Garrett to pay to my four daughters Ann Elizabeth
Eleanor and Jane Garrett, each five pounds
Sterling from my share of said goods effects
and lands on Pultree in sd Parish and
to my sons William John and Thomas Garrett the
sum of one pound each, and to James Garrett
my youngest son the sum of five pounds Sterling
to enable the sd James Garrett to get a trade.
And in consideration hereof I appoint Willm Garrett
my loving husband my sole Execr and Adminr
in this my last will and Testament.
Should any further claim be made upon
this my last will and testament I debar In witness whereof
them according to law. I do hereby subscribe my
The legacies in this my last will to be name to this my last will and
paid if required to my several sons testament this eleventh
and daughters mentioned when they day of October one thousand
attain the age of fourteen years. Should any of eight hundred and fifty
them die before that age the legacy to return her
