57     Ballaugh
In the name of God Amen.
I Ann Radcliffe (widow) of the late Thomas Radcliffe of the Knockan in
the parish of Ballaugh being of a sound disposing mind memory and
understanding do make declare and publish this my last will and
testament in  the following manner and form.
First I commend my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial.
I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Kneale otherwise Radcliffe
all and singular my right title interest and property
whatsoever in and to my houses and lands of the quarterland of the
Knockan(or of whatever quarterland the same may be) situated in the parish
of Ballaugh To have and to Hold unto her the said Mary Kneale otherwise
Radcliffe the said houses, lands, and premises and to her heirs and assigns
with their appurtenances absolutely forever commencing
from my decease.
I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Elinor Radcliffe a furnished
feather bed and also the sum of five shillings as legacy.
I leave and bequeath unto my sons to William Radcliffe Thomas Radcliffe and
John Radcliffe the sum of five shillings each as legacy.
Lastly I nominate constitute ordain and appoint my aforesaid daughter Mary
Kneale otherwise Radcliffe whole and sole executrix of this my
last will and testament and residuary legatee of all and singular the rest
and remainder of my goods credits and effects of all descriptions whatsoever
or wheresoever.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this the 1st
day of December 1851.
