This is the last Will and Testament
of me Elizabeth Kinrade daughter of
Ewan Kinrade of the the town of Ramsey
being weak in body but of sound mind
and memory at the making, declaring
and publiching hereof.
First, I commit my soul to Goad and my
body to christian burial
Secondly. I leave and bequeath to jane
Kinrade in consideration of her
attention and care of me in my illness
all and singular my goods & effects
of whatever nature, manner or denom=
mination to be takne and possessed
ny her immediately at and upon
the death of my father Ewan
Kinrade afsd who is to have the use
and enjoyument of all and the whole
of my goods, chattles and the intrest
of all money to me belonging during
his natural lifetime. And I also
leave and bequeath to the sd Jane
Kinrade and to her heirs and
assigns all my right and title
to those houses and premises
situate in the town of Ramsey
which were purchased by my
father and mother, during mothers
life time, the same to be posseed by the
sd Jane Kinrade at and upon the death
of my father afsd to whom I leave
the same during his natural life.
And I also nominate constitute
and appoint the sd Jane Kinrade
whole and sole Executrix of this
my Will. In witness whreof I
hereunto subscribe my name as
and for my last Will and Testament
this 15th day of March 1852

At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey
on the 12th day of November 1852
John Corlett and Edwd Corrin the subscribing
witnesses to the foregoing paper writing purporting
to be the Will of Elizabeth Kinrade deceased
having made oath on the Holy Evangelists that
said Elizabeth Kinrade the Testatrix when of
sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding duly signed and executed the
same as and for her last Will and Testament
in their presence - Jane Kinrade the Executrix
therein named is therefore sworn well and truly
to fulfil and execute said Will according to Law
to pay all just Debts, Legacies and Funeral
expenses of said Testartix so far forth as the
good and effects will extend and the law bin
her and to return to the Episcopal Registry a full
true and perfect inventory of said goods and effects
with an accurate account of her acts and
proceedings in the premises when thereunto
lawfully required - and to these ends she
hath given pledges namely Ewan Kinrade
and James murray who have executed
the usual bond to that effect in presence
of the Court.
