		The humble petition of John Paul Harrison
		And Rebecca Jane his wife

SHEWETH	That Ann Radcliffe otherwise Killey wife of 
		George Radcliffe of the parish of Andrews lately
		And mother of your petitioner Rebecca Jane 
		Lately departed this life intestate and your
		Petitioners having legally entitled to certain
		Land, hereditaments, mortgages moneys goods
		Chattels and real estate and personal estate and 
		Effects whereof the said Ann Radcliffe was
		In possession at the time of her decease it is 
		Necessary that some proper person should be 
		Appointed to administer her state for the       
		Protection of the rights of all parties interested therein
			Wherefore your petitioners pray a 
			Hearing of this petition and that
			Your worship may be pleased
			To grant letters of Administration
			Of the estate of the said Ann
			Radcliffe unto the Sumner of
			Andreas or some other proper
			Persons and your  petitioners
			Will  pray
Ordered that this petition do come on to be 
Heard at a Court to be holden at Ramsey on
Saturday the 4th  at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.			
			Wherefore all proper parties
To have due notice.

At Ramsey the 9th  of  Sept 1852
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties or their 
Advocates at an Ecc’l Court held in Ramsey on the 4th September
And upon reading a certain deed or marriage settlement entered
Into between Ann Radcliffe dec’d and the def George Radcliffe
Dated the 11th October q1837 and upon consideration thereof
Of what was otherwise “___” offered argued and alleged
And on behalf of the parties “____” I am of opinion
That administration of all and singular the goods rights 
Credits chattels and effects of the said Ann Radcliffe dec’d 
Were “___” or assigned in and by the decr ought to be 
Granted in the Pet where Paul Harrison in right of his wife
For her benefit and for the benefit of Ann Radcliffe the wife
Of Rob’t Quirk Esq having the rights of all other persons
And the same is therefore hereby ordered adjudged and decreed

Worship Vicar Gen Corlett I have Charged Robert C. Quirk
And Anne his wife to appear at an Ecc’l Court to be held
At Ramsey on Saturday next when called to answer

Corlett Vicar General  granted on the petition of Louisa
Radcliffe, Maria Radcliffe, Emma Radcliffe and George
Radcliffe minors of John Paul Harrison and Robert
Charles Quirk their guardians I have left charges for
George Radcliffe at his dwelling house with his sister
To appear at a Court to be holden at Ramsey on Friday

			The humble petition of Louisa
			Radcliffe Maria Radcliffe Emma
			Radcliffe and George Radcliffe minors
			By John Paul Harrison and  Robert
			Charles Quirk their guardians

Sheweth  That your petitioners mother Ann Radcliffe
	Wife of George Radcliffe of the parish of  Andreas
	A considerable time ago departed this life having as your petitioners
	Have heard published her last Will and testament
In writing whereof she appointed your petitioners
Father executor yet   the said George Radcliffe
Has not taken any steps to obtain probate of the 
Said will and the general estate of the said
Ann Radcliffe in which your petitioners are
Deeply interested remains unadministered.
	Wherefore your petitioners pray a 
	Hearing of this  petition ad that
	The Sumner General or some other
	Proper person may be appointed to 
	Administer the estate of the said 
	Ann Radcliffe for the preservation
	Of your petitioners rights or otherwise
	That your petitioners may obtain
	Such other relief in the premises	
	As is just and they will pray
Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard before me at
An Ecc’l Court to be held in Ramsey the 12th Mar whereof all 
Proper parties and persons to have due notice.

At a Court holden at Ramsey the 18th March 1852
This petition is continued to Saturday the 20th 
November at ½ past nine o’clock in Ramsey to give the
Def an opportunity to prove the alleged writing of Ann
Radcliffe dec’d otherwise adm of her estate to be granted
To Sumner General or some other proper person

	At an Ecc’l Court held in Ramsey the 20th Nov 1852
Upon hearing this petition after notice to George Radcliffe the Def and it 
Appearing necessary that some proper representation be set up for the
Protection of the personal estate of Ann Radcliffe dec’d who appears to have 
Departed this life intestate leaving issue Louisa Radcliffe, Maria Radcliffe, Emma
Radcliffe and George Radcliffe minors who are therefore decreed sole administers
Of all and singular the goods rights credits chattels and effects of the
Said dec’d and Samuel Barre of Douglas Esq the Sumner in
This diocese is therefore sworn in trust well and truly
To administer the estate according to law to pay all
Just debts and funeral expenses of the dec’d so far forth as the 
Goods will extend and the Law bind him and to return to 
The Episcopal Registry a full true and perfect inventory of
The said estate with an accurate account of his acts and proceedings
In the premises when their unto lawfully required.
			Decretum est
