2 In the name of God, Amen I James Quayle of
Laxey in the Parish of Lonan with the joint
consent of my wife Ann Quayle als White being
in health and of a disposing mind memory and un-
derstanding and calling to mind the uncertainty of
this transitory life do make this our Joint Will and
Testament in the following manner ------
First We recommend our souls to God and our bodies to
a Christian burial and with respect to such
goods and effects as we are possessed of we jointly
dispose of as followeth.
Secondly We jointly leave and bequeath unto the survi-
vor of us all our property of Houses and Lands
in said Parish and in Laxey
Thirdly We jointly leave and bequeath unto our Sons
and Daughters the sum of two shillings and six
pence British each as legacy
Lastly we jointly leave and bequeath the residue
and remainder of our goods and effects mov-
able and immovable of what nature or
denomination soever unto the survivor of us
and do nominate constitute ordain and appoint
the survivor of us whole and sole executor of
this out last Joint Will and Testament in
wittness whereof we have hereunto sett our
names this the 9th Day of March 1837
