     The humble petition of Isabella Corkish
     of the parish of Marown widow
Sheweth
       That William corkish late of the said
parish of Marown your petitioners husband
departed this life some time in the month
of April last intestate -
      That petitioner is desireius of obtaining
administration to the estate and effects of 
the said William Corkish -
   Wherefore petitioner prays a hearing  hereof
   and that your Worship may be pleased
   to grant Administration to the estate and
   effects of the said William Corkish to your 
   petitioner or some other fit and proper person
   and petr will pray

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard
at a Court to be holden in Douglas on Friday 24th
MayJune instant whereof all parties to have due notice

          the 24th June 1853
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the
parties & their advocates it appears that
William Corkish decd in this petition named
departed this life some time since intestate
leaving next of kin Charles Corkish, samuel
Corkish, John Corkish, Daniel Corkish, Catherine
wife of Hubertis Dubois, Robert Corkish and 
Isabella Corkish who are therefore decreed sole
sole Admonrs of all and singular the goods
rights credits chattels and effects of the said
deceased and Isabella Corkish the petitioner
widow of the deceadant is sworn well and truly
to administer the said estate in trust for
the next of kin according to law, to pay all 
just debts legacies and funeral expences of the testator so far forth
as the goods will extend and the law bind her and to return
tothe Episcopal Registry of this diocese a just true and perfect
inventory of the goods and effects of the said testator with
an accurate account of her acts and proceedings in the
premises when threunto lawfully required and to these ends
has given pledges namely John Moore and .... Kewley who
have executed the usual bond in prescend of the Court
            Decretum est.
