In the name of God Amen.
I Joseph Cretney of Ballakelly in the parish of KK Marown being of sound
mind memory and understanding do ordain and appoint this for my last
will and testament as follows:
First I commit my soul to God and my body unto a Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath unto my son Robert Cretney the sum of five pounds. I
leave and bequeath unto my son Joseph Cretney the sum of five pounds. Also
unto my son James Cretney (not yet christened) the sum of five pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto my two daugaters Elizabeth Cretney and Ann
Isabella Cretney the sum of five pounds each - none of the aforesaid legacys
to bear interest.
I leave and bequeath unto my wife Ann Cretney all my houses and
concerns on part of Crosby also all my houses and property on Ballabeg
both properties being in the parish of KK Marown.
And whom also I nominate and appoint whole and sole executrix of this
my last will and testament and residuary legatee of all the rest of my goods
cash credits and effects moveable and immoveable be the same of what kind
name nature soever as witness my name this 29th of March 1854. Joseph
