32 Rushen
At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 12th day of May 1854. Hugh
Turnbull of the parish of Kirk Christ Rushen having departed this
life on or about the sixteenth day of March last past intestate and this
court having received intelligence thereof hath for the preservation of
the rights of all persons concerned decreed his son John Turnball and the
children of Thomas Turnbull and other son decease namely William
Turnbull, Margaret Turnbull, Eleanor Turnbull and John Thomas Turnbull joint
administrators of all and singular the goods, rights, credits,
chattels, and effects, moveable and at request of the said widow and
said next of kin William Moore of said parish of Rushen is in trust for
them thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the same according
to law to pay all the interest just debts and funeral expenses so far
forth as the goods will extend and law bind and return into the Episcopal
Registry a full true and perfect inventory thereof and an accurate
account of all transactions, touching the same when thereunto lawfully
required.
And to these ends the said William Moore hath given pledges in form of
law, namely Thomas Turnbull of Ballaquinney and John Moore of
Ballfesson in said parish who have executed the usual bond in presence
of the court.

This is to certify that I Margaret Turnbull widow of the late Hugh
Turnbull and John Turnbull son of the late Hugh Turnbull of the parish of
Kirk Christ Rushen in the Isle of Man do hereby give and consent jointly
together and fully authorize you to act administrator over all the effects
of the aforesaid Hugh Turnbull (and we hope that this will be a sufficient
acknowledgment to the court that you be accepted.
