				To the Worshipful Thomas W. Corlett Esq.
				Vicar General &c - &c-
						The Humble Petition of 
						Ann Stowell of Michael			
	Sheweth
			That your Petitioners husband John 
			Stowell departed this life on the
			twelfth day of January last
			intestate leaving him your Ptr.
			with four children (minors)
				That your Ptr. is desirous
			for the benefit of all concerned
			that administration be granted in
			the premises, as the goods and effects
			are in a perishable state.
					Wherefore your Ptr
					prays a hearing of this petition and
					that your worship
					may be pleased to
					grant administration
					in form of law with
					such other and further
					relief as to your Ptr
					may soon meet and 
					your Ptr will pray &c

		Ordered that this Petition do come on to be heard at an Eccl
		Court to be held in KK Michael on Thursday next the 22nd Feby.
		whereof all proper parties to have due notice

			At an Ecc Court held at KK Michael 
						22nd Feby. 1855
Upon hearing this petition in presence of parties or their advocates
it appears John Stowell therein named some time ago departed
this life intestate leaving John, Ann Jane, James and Elizabeth
Stowell his only children and next of kin herein surviving who are therefore
decreed joint administrators of all and singular the goods rights
credits challels and effects of the said deceased and the petitioner is
sworn intrust well and truly to administer the said estate according
to law and to pay all the past debts and funeral expenses of the deceased
sofar forth as the goods unto extend and the law bind her and to return to the
Episcopal Registry of this Diocese a full true and perfect inventory of the
said Estate with an accurate account of her acts and proceedings to the
premises when thereunto lawfully required and to these ends she has given
pledges namely John Stowell and John Gawne who have executed
the usual Bond in the presence of the court.

WHEREAS the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this day granted Administration of all and
Singular the goods and effects of John Stowell late ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ deceased, to Ann Stowell his widow in trust for
the children and next of kin of John Stowell, Anne Jane Stowell
Jas. Stowell and Elizabeth Stowell –

AND WHEREAS John Stowell of Ballabeg-of-Ballabeg
in the Parish of KK Lonan and John Gawne
of Coolebane in the Parish of Lezayre have agreed
to become pledges to the said Ann Stowell for the due administration
of the said Estate according to law.
Therefore know all men be these Presents, that we, the said John Stowell ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ and John Gawne hereby bind and oblige
ourselves and our Executors and Administrators, as pledges to the said Anne Stowell
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~for the due and faithful administration of the goods
and effects of the said deceased according to law.  And in her default we bind ourselves and our Executors
and Administrators to be answerable to all parties interested in the said Estate, or the Administration thereof.
Witness our subscriptions this 22nd day of February 1855.
