The humble petition of the Thomas Henry Mylchreest, Evan Mylchreest, Eunice
Mylchreest and John Gell of Kennaa in the parish of German and Elizabeth his
wife.
Sheweth: That Ann Mylchreest late or Ballagarraghan in the parish of German
aforesaid departed this life on or about the (left blank) day of May last
having first duly made and published her last will and
testament in writing bearing date the 2d day of May 1856 whereof she
appointed your petitioner John Gell executor.
That your petrs Henry, Evan, Eunice, and Elizabeth are the only next of
kin of the said Ann Mylchreest and are desirous that the said will should
be proved and that your petitioner John Gell should be appointed executor
thereof.
Wherefore your petrs pray a hearing hereof and that probate of the said will
may be granted to your petr John Gell and they will pray. H. C. Gill
for petrs
Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an Eccl Court holden at
Kirk Michael on Thursday next whereof all parties to have notice Given the
10 June 1856.

The last will and testament of Ann Mylchreest of Ballgarraghyn in the parish
of German.
I leave will and bequeath to my four children Henry, Evan and Eunice
Mylchreest and Elizabeth Gell wife of John Gell of Kennaa the whole of
my personal estate including monies goods and effects equally divided
between them. I do also appoint John Gell of Kennaa executor in trust to
carry out this my last will and testament into effect - revoking all
other wills or wills by me heretofore made and barring all other
claimants with five shillings legacies.
As witness my subscription this twenty second day of May one thousand eight
hundred and fifty.
