GERMAN 1857 3 The petition of Ellinor Gawn, Elizabeth Gawn, Samuel Moore and Jane his wife, and Esther Gawn of the parish of German. Sheweth: That Ann Gawn of the said parish your petitioner's mother some short time ago departed this life intestate and it is necessary that some fit and proper person or persons be appointed to administer to her estate. That your petitioners together with Eunice Mylrea and William Edward Mylrea minors of tender years and grandchildren of the said Ann Gawne are the whole of the next kin of the said Ann Gawne wherefore your petitioners pray that your worship may be pleased to grant administration of the said estate to your petitioner Elizabeth and they will pray. J Kelly for petitioners Ordered that this petitions do come on to be heard at an Ecclesiastical Court to beheld at KkMichael on Thursday next whereof all proper parties or persons to have due notice. At an Ecclesiastical Court held at KK Michael 29th January 1857 Upon hearing this petition in presence of parties or their advocates and it appearing that Ann Gawne sometime ago departed this life intestate leaving Ellinor Gawne, Elizabeth Gawne, Samuel Moore and Jane his wife and Esther Gawne the petitioners and Eunice Mylrea and William Edward Mylrea in right of their mother Mary Mylrea her only next of kin they are decreed joint administrators of all and singular the goods, rights, and credits, chattels, and effects of the said deceased and Elizabeth Gawne is sworn in trust well and truly to administer the said estate according to law - to pay all the just debts and funeral expenses of the said decease so far forth as the goods will extend and the law bind her and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese and a full true and perfect inventory of the said estate with an accurate account of her acts and proceedings in the premises when thereunto lawfully required and to These ends she has given pledges namely John Cottier and Samuel Moore who have executed the usual bond in the presence of the court.
