I Jane Caley of the parish of Lezayre calling to mind the uncertainty of
human life do proceed to make declare and publish this my last will and
testament being of sound mind and memory at the making hereof.
First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Secondly I leave to my son John five shillings as legacy.
Thirdly I leave to my son Thomas five shillings as legacy.
Fourthly I leave to my son William five shilling as legacy.
Fifthly I leave to my daughter Christiana wife of William Kelly a feather
bed and bedding as legacy.
Lastly I leave all my lands and houses situate in the parish of Lezayre to
my son Daniel Caley to hold the same to him and his heirs executors
administrators and assigns forever and I nominate constituted and
appoint my said son Daniel whole and sole executor of this my will and
residuary legatee of all the rest and remainder of my goods chattels and
effects.  In witness whereof I hereunto subscribed my name as and for
my last will and testament this 24th day of Febuary 1841.

At a Chapter Court held in Ramsey on the 28th day of May 1858.
John Corlett and Hugh Gill the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
paper writing purporting to be the will of Jane Caley deceased having
made oath upon the Holy Evangelists that said Jane Caley the testatrix when
of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding duly signed and
executed the same as and for her last will and testament in their presence
Daniel Caley the executor in said will named is therefore sworn well and
truly to fulfil and execute the same according to law, to pay all
the just debts and legacies and funeral expenses of said testatrix so far
forth as the goods and effects will thereto extend and the law bind him
and to return to the Archdeacon¹s Registry a full true and perfect inventory
of said estate and effects with an accurate account of his acts and
proceedings in the premises when thereunto lawfully required.
And to these ends he hath given pledges namely William Callow and Hugh
Gill who have entered into and executed the usual bond in presence of the
