At a Chapter Court held in Peel on the 11th day of June 1858.
Patrick Kaighin of the parish of Kirk German having departed this life in
or about the second June instant and intestate; and this court having
received intelligence thereof hath decreed his two children namely
Philip Kaighin and John Kaighin joint administrators of all and singular
the goods, rights, credits, chattels, and effects movable and immovable
whatever of said deceadent and for the preservation of the rights of all
persons concerned the said Philip Kaighin is therefore sworn well and
truly to administer the same according to law to pay all the just debts
and funeral expenses of said testator so far forth as the goods and effects
will extend and the law bind him and to return to the Episcopal Registry a
full true and perfect inventory of said estate and effect with
an accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the premises when
thereunto lawfully required and to these ends he hath given pledges
namely John Kaighin and William Woods who have entered into and
executed the usual bond in presence of the court.
