Rushen 1859 No 61 I Jane Qualtrough lately of the parish of Rushen now of Arbory in consideration of the uncertainty of human life being in the 77 years of my age but of sound mind and memory do feel it my duty to make this my last will and testament in the following manner. First - I leave and bequeath to my oldest daughter Elizabeth Christian all my wearing apparel. 2ndly - I leave and bequeath to my son Edward Qualtrough of Peel the sum of two pounds. 3rdly and Lastly - I constitute and appoint my son William Qualtrough sole executor of the rest of my goods, monies and effects of whatever description and this I declare to be my last will and testament this 11th day of April in the year 1854.
