In the name of God Amen.
I William Quine of Ballagick in the parish of Kirk Santan being of sound
mind, memory, and understanding do hereby make publish and declare
this to be my last will and testament in way and manner following: First:
I commend my soul to Almighty God and my body to a decent Christian burial.
Second: I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary Kelly wife of Robert Kelly
the sum of one hundred and five pounds subject to the deduction of
a Promissory Note and interest that I passed to the said Robert Kelly on
or about the year 1835, the said balance to be paid within twelve months
after the decease of the longest liver of my wife or myself.
Third: I leave and bequeath to my son William the sum of one hundred and
five pounds to be paid within twelve months after the decease of the longest
liver of my wife or myself.
Fourth:  I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Kelly wife of John
Kelly the sum of one hundred and ten pounds to be paid within twelve months
after the decease of the longest liver of my wife or myself.
Fifth: I leave and bequeath to my daughter Catharine Cowin wife of
Robert Cowin the sum of one hundred and five pounds to be paid within twelve
months after the decease of the longest liver of my wife or
myself.
Sixthly: I leave and bequeath to my son John the sum of one hundred pounds
to be paid unto his own hands, within twelve months after the deceased of
the longest liver of my wife or myself, but is he the said
John Quine does not come forward himself to receive the said sum and in that
case Mary Kelly, Elizabeth Kelly and Catherine Cowin and James
Quine my children aforesaid are to received the sum of ten pounds each out
of the aforesaid John Quines legacy and William Quine, Edward Quine and
Esther Quine my children are to received the sum of twenty pounds each out
of the aforesaid John Quines legacy.
Seventh:  I leave and bequeath to my son Edward the sum of two hundred and
five pounds to be paid within twelve months after the decease of the longest
liver of my wife or myself.
Eighth:  I leave and bequeath to my daughter Esther the sum of one hundred
and fifty pounds to be paid within twelve months after the decease of the
longest liver of my wife or myself.
Nineth:  I leave and bequeath to my son James the sum of One hundred and
five pounds to be paid within twelve months after the decease of the longest
liver of my wife or myself.
Tenth:  I leave and bequeath to my grandchildren Thomas and James Kelly
children of Robert Kelly and Mary his wife the sum of two pounds each.
Eleventh.  I leave and bequeath to my grandchildren Robert Kelly and Thomas
Kelly children of John Kelly and Elizabeth his wife - Robert is to received
the sum of two pounds and Thomas is to receive the sum of
three pounds.
Twelfth.  I leave and bequeath to my grandchildren Robert Cowin and Thomas
Cowin children of Robert Cowin and Catharine his wife the sum
of two pounds each.
I leave and bequeath to my loving wife the whole of the interest of the
aforesaid legacies during her natural life.
I nominate constitute and appoint my two sons William and Edward to be my
whole and sole executors of all my goods and effects at and after the death
of the longest liver of my wife or myself.
As witness my name this Thirtieth day of March one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five (1855)

At a Chapter Court held in Castletown on the 25th day of May 1860. William
Quine and Edward Quine sworn as executors with pledges being
the witnesses.

Esther Quine intermarried with Robert Kinnish of Hopewood Street in
Liverpool and having since departed this life administration of estate
was at an Eccl Court held at Douglas on the twenty fourth day of
February 1876 granted to the said Robert Kinnish
and whereas Elizabeth Quine wife of the said testator having sometime also
departed this life the said Robert Kinnish has called upon the said Edward
Quine and William Quine executors under the said will to pay
over to him as such administrators the said legacy.

Robert Received one hundred and fifty pounds on the 25th Febr 1876. William
Quine also departed this life leaving only Edward Quine
surviving executors.
James Kelly received two pounds 18 Mar 1876
Thomas Kelly received two pounds 18 Mar 1876.
Robert Cowin received two pounds 25 Jan 1876.
Mary Kelly/Robert Kelly rec'd 80 pounds 29 Apr 1876
William Quine rec'd 100 pounds 13 Oct 1877.
Catharine Cowin departed this life 12 Oct 1872 intestate and Eccl Court
holden at Douglas on the 24th Feb 1876 granted Charlotte Cowin and paid her
105 pounds.
Thomas Cowin received 2 pounds 22 March 1876
