I William Turnbull of the Level or Croit e Caly in the parish of Rushen
Blacksmith being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do make my
last will and testament in manner following.
I leave and bequeath to my children namely Robert, John and Margaret
wife of Robert Collister twenty shillings each as legacy and to be in full
of whatever claim they or either of them can or may have upon or against my
estates real and personal.
I leave to the poor of the parish of Rushen ten shillings to be distributed
as the Vicar and Church Wardens of  Rushen parish may see fit.
I give devise and bequeath all my houses lands and property situate in
the said parish of Rushen or elsewhere; however, acquired and where
ever situated unto my wife Eleanor Turnbull otherwise Moore To Have
and To Hold unto her and her heirs and assigns absolutely forever
together with all ways waters water courses and easements
hereditaments and appurtenances unto the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining
I leave and bequeath all the rest of my moneys, bonds, notes, goods,
chattels, effects, and property of every kind and description to me
belonging moveable and immoveable unto my said wife Eleanor Turnbull
and I do hereby appoint her executrix of this my last will and testament
according to law hereby revoking any will or wills by me heretofore
made and declaring this only to be my last will and testament according
to law.
In witness whereof I have herewith subscribed my name this 24th day of
November in the years of our lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty
William Turnbull.

At a Chapter Court held in Castletown on the 17th day of May 1861. Eleanor
Turnbull sworn executrix with pledges being the witnesses of
the will.
